WHY RUSH?
We know that joining a sorority is not for everyone, and that joining one may seem counter to the stereotypical Wesleyan mindset. With that said - we are intent on redefining what "sorority" means and in the process, seeking to dismantle stereotypes concerning all-female greek organizations and what it means to be a woman in the world today.
Rho Epsilon Pi is not a typical sorority. So, how is it different?
-
Rho Epsilon Pi is a local sorority, unaffiliated with a national organization. That difference enables us to play by our own rules. We elect our Executive Board and set our own rules, standards, responsibilities, events and dues.
-
Membership in Rho Epsilon Pi will never prove contingent on a PNM’s ability to pay dues. Our treasurer will work with each member to ensure that membership dues do not become a hardship. Membership dues to host events, coordinate chapter activities, transport our members to off-campus philanthropic events.
-
Rho Epsilon Pi accepts applications from all self-identifying female students at Wesleyan University. Our decision reflects a simple desire to create an organization filled with strong, intelligent, talented, driven women.
